An insanely blue sky thanks to Fuji Velvia 50. It works pretty well with the golden birch leaves, I think.

I get blue-purple skies on Velvia 50. Maybe it’s the lab I use.

I mostly get blue skies, but if there are clouds, then those quickly begin to show signs of purple.

I thought it was strange that the blue sky was full of stars. Then I realised it was dust on my screen.
That’s a lovely shade of blue. I can never seem to get a satisfactory sky-blue from my Nikon digital camera. Fujifilm digital does a better job, but film is the best for skies.

The best colours I’ve got from digital have been from a Ricoh GR3. That camera seems to deliver beautiful tones even in the unedited RAW files.

I had a look at one in a camera store a few months ago. I didn’t get a chance to check out much colour because I was in a shop. I’ve heard it makes wonderful pictures. I thought about buying the x version with the standard lens, but the camera felt a bit too small in my hands.
