Given that I mentioned it in yesterday’s post, heres the second most underexposed shot from this roll. While it has definite faults (not least all the dust spots that I didn’t have the will to remove!), it still kinda works I think.

Sometimes you just have to work with what you’ve got. These scenes are really difficult to expose for at the best of times and actually whether it was deliberate or not, sacrificing the shadows for the mid and high tones can work really well as this shows.

I think it works really well; mysterious woods type of thing. Also amazing what you can get off a neg with a scanner……

Thanks. The neg looked almost transparent apart from the highlights, so I was pleased with what was recovered. It was scanned with an Epson V550.
