Adox Silvermax has quite a pleasant grain to it. It’s more prominent in this shot because it was a little underexposed. The clouds ‘pop’ nicely in the sky thanks to the red filter too.

There’s a bit of camera-shake in this shot but, in this case, I don’t think it harms the shot and adds a little ‘grit’.

I liked the contrast of the white gulls on shore and the darker ducks (mostly) on the water. The red filter has darkened the grass to add more contrast too.

In the millennium Gallery in Sheffield, there is a giraffe constructed from cutlery. This is a close-up of its neck (complete with a variety of distorted spoon selfies 🙂 ).

I shot a roll of Adox Silvermax recently. I’ve shot this before and had lovely results, but the negatives for this roll came back pretty thin. Now, I’ve had this occur a few times with different films, and I tend to like the high contrast look I get from the underexposed results – as I do with today’s photo.
Still, I’d rather they’d come out properly exposed. Maybe I need to change the battery in the camera?

I spotted someone in a T-Rex costume amongst the crowds in the Winter Gardens the other week. I took a couple of photos, both of which are very similar – one was with my F70, 50mm f/1.8 & some expired Superia 100 (rated at 64asa), which suffers a little from camera shake as I had to use a pretty slow shutter; and then this one, which was taken with my Olympus 35 RC. Thanks to the Tri-X I was using in the camera, I got a sharper result (I probably shot this at 1/60th).
